Your tasks

  • You are responsible for testing and certifying fire extinguishers, fire extinguishing installations and safety equipment;
  • You test, press and/or fill cylinders and other devices;
  • You report insufficient parts stock;
  • You are responsible for reporting on the work performed.

Come work in an international environment

In the morning you start in the workshop or you drive directly to the ship with a colleague to carry out the annual inspections on board by checking and maintaining fire extinguishers and extinguishing installations. Checking escape sets, breathing air sets and compressors are also part of this inspection. Equipment will also be taken from the ship and inspected back in the workshop. After performing the service assignment, you report to the planner. After completion of the work, you provide reporting and certification of the inspected items.

Who are you?

You are the customer-friendly and pleasant colleague technician who will strengthen our service department. For the position of Service Engineer we are looking for someone with:

  • Education at lower to advanced technical level;
  • Command of the English language in word and writing;
  • Willingness to work overtime and participate in a weekly shift schedule;
  • Willingness to travel / stay abroad;
  • · Driving License B.

In addition, it is important that you can work well both independently and in a team. Are you flexible, stress resistant, service oriented and do you have technical insight? Then this position is really something for you!
